Committees

The CEPOL Committees prepare the content of the Governing Board. They make propositions and recommendations to the Governing Board and provide documents to it.

From each committee depends Working Group(s).

The CEPOL Committees meets two times per Presidency.

There is four CEPOL Committees:

Annual Programme Committee (APC):

The APC makes propositions and recommendations to the GB about the Work Programme.

It is made up of representatives from nine Member States.

Budget and Administration Committee(BAC):

The Budget and Administration Committee supports the CEPOL - Governing Board. It makes proposals and recommendations on financial and administrative matters.

It is made up of representatives from twelve EU Member States. The representative from the Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, by the representatives from the Member States holding the former Presidency and incoming Presidency and by nine representatives from individual Member States.

The Strategy Committee (SC):

The SC provides the CEPOL - Governing Board with support, policy advice and the information necessary for the development and monitoring of strategies.

The Strategy Committee is made up of

A representative from the Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union,
The Governing Board Chair
The Chair and the Deputy Chair of the other Committees
The Chair of the External Relations Working Group.

The Training and Research Committee (TRC):

The Training and Research Committee makes proposals and recommendations to the CEPOL Governing Board on the development of CEPOL's training, learning and research strategy.

It is made up nine EU Member States.
